We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as when you book a call, subscribe to the newsletter, or contact us for support. We may also collect certain information automatically when you use our services, including device information, IP address, and usage data.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services. This includes personalizing content, analyzing usage patterns, and sending communications related to our services. We also use this information to develop new features and services that may enhance your experience.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your personal information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

When you take the assessment, we record the answers you choose, which wording of each question you were shown, and how far through you got. If you ask for your report, we also store the name, work email, and company you enter, and we email you a link to it. Your answers are encoded into that report link itself, so anyone holding the link can open the report — treat it as you would any other link containing your own information. We use your answers to produce the report, to decide what we would and would not recommend, and to prepare properly if you go on to book a call. We measure which questions people stop at so we can rewrite the ones that are not working; that measurement is tied to a random identifier stored in your browser, not to your name or your email.

We use PostHog for product analytics, Resend for email delivery and our mailing list, Google Analytics for website statistics, and Google Calendar for scheduling calls. Analytics data, including your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, is processed in the United States. These providers act on our instructions and under contract, and none of them may use your information for their own purposes.

We want to be clear that we do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to using your information only for the purposes outlined in this policy.

We keep the personal information you provide, including your assessment answers and the contact details you enter to receive your report, until you ask us to delete it or we no longer need it to provide our services. Analytics data is tied to a random identifier stored in your browser, not to your name or email.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email contact@particula.tech and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows, generally within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect and to request its deletion.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date.
